Visual Identity,
INTRODUCTION
Greeting! My name is KHALED AZMY and I am an architect and graphic designer who specializes in architecture, media, technology, art and CGI. To best reflect my skills and abilities, I created my personal brand a few years ago. However, I now feel that it is time to refine my presentation to a more sophisticated and professional level in order to better reach my target market. Thus, I am producing a new visual identity.
LOGO CONCEPT
I needed to choose the right character to represent what I was presenting, as I'm not focused on one specific direction. I designed a general logo that expresses my personality, which was based on the shape of my face and my style of dress. However, as those things can change, I ended up having to use my initials to create my logo and identity.
After I created the logo, I recognized that it did not successfully demonstrate my individual style or a modern, contemporary logo. It was neither here nor there, so I decided to alter it to have sharp, distinctive elements.
LOGO CONSTRUCTION
This basic form utilized symmetry and employed geometric shapes like circles and lines all sharing a common center, as well as proportions pleasing to the eye.

TYPEFACE & PATTERN
The logo was created using the first letters of my name, K, H and D. I then used these letters to form a pattern, which is repeated throughout the brand.
